Four Ingredient Recipes- Brownies Worth Working Out For

There are three Food Network Chefs I adore:

1- Guy Fieri (swoon)

2- Ina Garten (I sooo want her kitchen. And that blue bowl.)

and

 3- Pauuullaaaa Deen, y'all

I love me some Paula and I am shocked that this woman hasn't had a massive coronary or isn't 500 pounds 'cuz have you seen what she makes? And how much butter is involved?

This recipe comes from my mama via Paula and it is a huge hit at bbq's and parties here:

Symphony Brownies

recipegirl.com

1) 1 (19 7/8 ounce) box Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix (I use any brand that is on sale, the brand does NOT make a difference)

2) 2 large eggs

3) 1/4 cup water

4) 1/2 cup vegetable oil

5) 2 (7 ounce) Hershey symphony milk chocolate bars (you could use the ones with toffee pieces mixed in too)

*** Ok, ya got me. This recipe is FIVE ingredients but one of them is water and you don't need to buy water so that doesn't count in my wacked out world****

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Lightly grease the bottom only of an 11 x 7 inch baking pan; set aside.

In a large mixing bowl prepare brownie mix according to directions on the package, using 2 eggs, 1/4 cup water and 1/2 cup oil.

 Stir until smooth.

Spread half the batter evenly into prepared pan.

Unwrap candy bars and place them on top of the batter.

 Top with remaining brownie batter.

Bake 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out with only a few moist crumbs clinging to it.

No need to thank me. :)
