Workin' With What Ya Got- Little Side Table

***Thanks to all of my dear friends and family who made my birthday so special! It meant so much to me and yes, opposed to what some people say, birthdays ARE a big deal so thanks to those who made it so special. ***

***One more thing, I want to welcome any new followers to my blog as I have linked a couple of my craft/organizing ideas to some fellow bloggers "Link Parties". If you click on the links all the way at the bottom of this blog, you will be able to go visit their blogs as well as see all of the great talent there is out there. Enjoy!!***

Years ago, my grandma and mom bought this adorable little table from a cute little shopping village nearby. Somehow I ended up with it during one of the moves (thank you mama!!):

Cute enough but the blue was driving me a little crazy (me crazy? nooo...) so I thought I would change it up a little bit.

But all I had was acrylic paint. I bet you are saying, "Oh no you didn't girlfriend!"

"Oh yes I did!"

Add a little of this.....

And you have a more updated table!

Cost-

NOTHING!!!!!!

Ok so I can hear you paint purists grumbling out there. Was this the correct way to go with painting furniture? No. Do I care? No. It looks good, its cheap inexpensive and I love it. So there. :)

Aren't girls great??!!

I wish you lived down the street for two reasons:
1- you can come help me paint bc I am not very good at it

and 2- I could send down a plate of cookies! :)

Thanks for reading and commenting Sara!
