Five Ingredient Recipe- Quesofundido

My mama gave me this wonderful recipe a few years ago and I make it for almost every party I have.
Good. Easy. Everyone will ask for the recipe. :)

                                          Quesofundido

1- 1 pound of monterey jack cheese, shredded ( if you are like me, you are gonna have a hard time finding shredded mont jack cheese at your store). If you are too lazy (like me at times) to shred it by hand, you can cube this cheese and it will melt just as well for you.

2- two cloves of garlic, minced

3- 2 TBSP. Tabasco green pepper sauce (OK, I am the queen of workin' with what I got and I had none of this on hand when I first made this. So I made do by adding Worcestershire and now I use it every time in place of this stuff and it is so good).

4- 1 large tomato, chopped

5- 2 tbsp. chopped cilantro

extra- tortilla chips for dipping. You could also use fresh veggies, flour tortillas cut up into small pieces or sourdough bread.

Combine the cheese, garlic and Tabasco/Worcestershire in a bowl and combine until blended. Place in a shallow baking dish in a 375 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring gently once or twice. Top with tomato, cilantro and additional Tabasco/Worcestershire. Serve immediately.

Happy Weekend you wonderful people. :)
