Four Ingredient Recipes- Caramel Apples

Nothing says Fall more than Caramel Apples for dessert.
Or for dinner....oh don't judge, you know you've done it before. :)

I posted this recipe last spring and thought this was definitely worth a re-post.

Caramel Apples

1- 6 apples (yes, I guess to be technical this would be a 9 ingredient recipe. But we aren't being technical, are we? :)
2- 14 ounce package of caramels
3- 2 Tbsp. milk ( I always use lowfat milk and it still tastes great)
4- craft sticks (sometimes in the fall, you can find these already in the caramel packages)

Remove the stems from the apples and press the sticks into the tops. Butter or use Pam on a cookie sheet and set aside. Place caramels and milk in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 2 minute intervals (stirring in between each interval) until the caramels are melted. Allow the caramel sauce to cool briefly, just a few minutes. Roll each apple quickly in the sauce until each one is coated. Place on the cookie sheet and refrigerate until set, 1-2 hours.

Enjoy!!!

On another brilliant note.....

autumn has arrived in our neighborhood.....
