Versatile Blogger Award!!

So this week is becoming such a fun week for me in the blogosphere:

Sorry, I did a major squeal on that one yesterday and almost thought it was a mistake...I even triple checked it to make sure and yes she was indeed following me. Maybe she thought I was someone else........anyhoo, exciting as she is one of my bloggy role model's. :)

- Annnnnndddd I received The Versatile Blogger Award from Jill over at Two Yellow Birds Decor yesterday!! It is a fun award and an honor because the person who is bestowing this award on you is a fellow blogger. So I felt very honored indeed when fellow blogger Jill gave this award to me and 14 of her other fave blogs!




So here are the rules of this award because it isn't a sitbackandrestonyourlaurels kind of award it is a workin' award. My favorite kind.:)

- I have to share 7 things about moi.

1- I love chocolate more than the average person. I must have some sort of chocolate each day....thank you 100 calorie packs for saving my butt. Literally.

2- I am a DVR-a-holic. We were able to swindle work a deal with our cable company to add DVR to our bill for the exact same price as before DVR. Yes, I know I should work in politics. But now I am addicted. Totally. I love that I can tape four shows at once and never ever have to watch them but the potential is there.......

3- I am afraid of movie theaters.....more than you know. If you want to know why, email me and I will fill you in. My bestie Rebecca knows alllllll about it and we have a code for whether a movie is worth going to for me.......

4- I wish I had finished my nursing school career. I spent three years working on my pre-req's, took the NLN test four times and finally got into my ultra competitive nursing program when I decided to just finish my Associates and turned it down. I regret that decision every.single.day.

5- I love the South. I haven't been in four years ( Tennessee, y'all) but we also haven't been on a real vacay since then either. I want to move there, live my days there, and get a cool accent there.The weather is wonderful and the people are even better.

6- My life isn't so grace full and I hope you don't think I portray it that way. I have neighbors who call the police weekly...in fact, someone was arrested across the street the other night....yes, we are hoping someone is moving. Soon. I have days when I don't give my youngest a bath...even when she played outside all day long. I never, ever wear makeup unless I am going to a true function...think band concert, teacher conference or dinner out with the hubs and even then its just lip gloss and mascara. I scream at my kids like the rest of you when they drive me crazy, forget to put a juice box in my Annie's lunch on the hottest day of the year and am a raging youknowwhat when it is that time of the month.....in fact, Annie just found out what menopause was last night and said she couldn't wait for me to "get it". Just keepin' it real. :)

7- I get migraines....a lot, like 3 a month which I thought was a lot until I learned that chronic migraine sufferers have 15 or more a month. Thankfully I don't have as many as in the past thanks to stress management and this blog.....have said it before and will say it again. Thanks to this blog, I have saved thousands in therapy and doctor bills. :)
