Who knew that it took so little on my part to make you so giddy?
Need to remember that.....:)
Juuuuussst kidding!
I will always work hard on each and every post.
Except when I don't.
So I came up with this 4 ingredient thang in bed early one morning, early on in my blogging "career".....if ya wanna call it that.
Back then, I would spend every waking hour thinking of cool new things that would bring my readers back again and again.
When you are a newbie, you do this.
Those who are newbies now, are nodding their heads right now.
So I thought....hmm, I know we all like to
And I also know we all like to
Annnnnd I also know that we all
Then I counted on my fingers (the best calculator in my humble opine) about how many ingredients I use in most of my recipes.
Four.
Huh.
Never noticed the pattern.
Most of my beloved recipes had just four ingredients.
So there and then my Four Ingredient Recipes was born!
FIR if you will.
Not the tree, its an abbreviation.
Get it?
So here are my top 8 fave FIR's!
Because Top 10 would be way too easy and predictable.
1- Low Fat Pizza
OK so this went a little wild and crazy viral on Pinterest last year.
I think in one day this post alone got, like, I dunno.....2000 hits?
I might have exaggerated a little.
Maybe like 200 hits?
That's a lot for this one horse town blog.
So either a lotta peeps love themselves a good pizza recipe.
Or they just liked the picture of the pizza on Pinterest.
I do have to admit.
It was one of my better pictures.
As pictures of pizza run.
You can find the recipe at the following link:
2- Better Than Panera Soup
The above picture isn't mine.
I credited it to the source.
But this was before I started taking pictures of my food.I used to think it was really weird to do that before I got into all these recipes.
But now, my camera pretty much sits next to me when I am whipping up a four ingredient concoction.
I know, I am weird.
You are just now figuring this out?
And yes.
It is better than Panera.
3- Meatball Subs
OK so I won't go into details about this as you can read it in the below link but can I just say....this is amazeballs.
It is.
And it is so easy to make.
Amazeballs, peeps, AMAZEBALLS.
Again, not my picture.
It is a lovely picture from Kraft.
You can click on the link above if you feel like it.
But just know.....yours will look and taste so much better.
4- French Bread Pizza
Ok its no secret around here that we love us some pizza.
This recipe is not, however, low fat in any way shape or form.
But it is good.
And it would make a great party addition.
Back to my pictures.
But I am sure you could already tell that......
5- Filipino Egg Rolls
Oh my heavens, if I could eat just these morning, noon and night?
I would.
I would, I would, I would.
They are so abso wonderfully happy and tasty.
They will make your mouth smile.
And your hips lumpy.
But it is worth the 4 mile run the next day.
Trust me.
6- White Castle Cheeseburgers
Sweet baby Ruth.
That's all I gotta say.And I can guarantee these are healthier than the fast food version.
I can also guarantee that most likely every food source known to man is healthier than White Castle.
7- Ribs
Ever lovin' ribs.
Lip smackin' ribs.
Diet crushing ribs.
8- Crockpot Buffalo Chicken
Who doesn't love hot stuff?
Right?
This is really yummo and you can adjust it to your family's heat level.
I gave you 8 four ingredient recipes!
Go on!
Get to the store and make yourself something other than reservations for dinner!
