One Word Holiday- Kristi

My next reader post is from Kristi and she is another “lifer”, who has been with me since almost the beginning as well.
She has been supporting me since the beginning of my Facebook page and on Pinterest too.
I don’t forget my readers from the beginning and if I were to ever pen a book, she would be one in the dedication page.
Of course we all know THAT isn’t going to happen so Kristi, this post is dedicated to you!

What one thing annoys you the least about Oprah?

Her friendship with Gayle King. I like that it has stood the test of time and is still going strong.

I love this about her too!
I wish they would create a reality show of just the two of them traveling around the country.

Who is your favorite family member? Why?

My favorite family member is my hubby. He makes me laugh. He is supportive of my sometimes off the wall ideas. He’s a great dad. And he looks good in Wranglers.

All good answers.

What is your favorite blog and why? (not mine)

It’s hard to pick a favorite blog. One of my top ones is Rain on a Tin Roof by Jenna LaFevor. There are many times we were friends in a previous life. My other favorite is Whatever by Meg Duerksen. The photography alone makes her site worth browsing. That and she is a busy mom like me.

By the way, Rain on a Tin Roof is a Chattanooga blog.

What holiday food item would you take a bath in if no one was looking?

I am thinking there would have to be some healing properties to bathing in canned cranberry sauce (jelly, not whole berry). It seems a lot less icky than a mud bath!

Cranberries are good for your urinary tract system.
So there’s that.
Merry Christmas.

What one present do you hope to receive this year?

I’m stuck on my Christmas wish list! My birthday is in early December so I always feel weird asking for multiple things. A pedicure would probably have to be at the top of the list!

I love pedicures!
And massages!
And spas!

If you only had the money to make one holiday dish this season, which one?

Corn Casserole is one of my favorite holiday dishes. I’m from New Mexico and I love to add a little green chile to spice it up.

What one celebrity is your absolute favorite?

Channing Tatum is probably my current favorite. I even asked my hubby who he thought was my favorite and CT was his first pick for me too.

I don’t get what the big fuss is about Ryan Gosling when you have Channing Tatum
AND he was a dancer.
LIKE A REAL DANCER.
Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

If you could have your own television show, what would YOU give your guests as your big giveaway?

I would give my guests a $1000 gift card to Target. There is truly something there for EVERYONE!

Please, I already had my grand spent before I finished typing that sentence.

What one thing (besides any religious belief) is your favorite part of the holiday season?

Outside of the “normal” parts (family time, presents, etc.) I really like to bring out my Christmas dishes. The first year my hubby and I were together, he gave me a set of Naughty/Nice Christmas coffee mugs. He had no idea how much I would love them. I look forward to that first cup of coffee in them each year.

This is so sweet.

If you could say one word to describe my blog, what would it be?

Real!

Thank you.

I love getting to know my readers/friends even better.
I feel like I could have been friends in real life with all of them and that is what I love most about this cool project.
Thank you Kristi for sharing you today!
