Goodwill Valentine Craft- Heart Shaped Sign

I went to Goodwill this morning because I had a 15% off coupon that was expiring and well, who really needs an excuse to visit that store anyway?

 I found this cute heart:
It looked really lonely sitting on the shelf with the remnants of the Valentines decorations.
Then I found this in the kitchen junk aisle :
Sorry, forgot to turn the picture around. DUH.
So I thought, let’s see what I can do with the both of these.
First, you need to take the tags off.
Why does Goodwill put the tags where they are easily seen?
Why not in the back of a frame NOT on the glass??
Goo Gone is my GO TO for removing sticky tags.
All gone.

A little of the above later……

Much better.

A little bit o’ glue (added with a toothpick for accuracy)

And ta-da!

A Valentine craft on the cheap.
Let’s do a cost round-up:
Wooden Heart– $1.99
Metal Mold– $2.99
Paint– already had
Goo Gone– already had
Total Cost– $ 4.98

I love to write about my family, John Hughes, tacos and Bruce Hornsby. Not necessarily in that order.
